Worcester Giraffe trail

We've never visited Worcester before but when we heard that they were doing a giraffe trail we knew that we had to go.

What's it all about?

Worcester has been overrun with beautiful giant giraffes and giraffe calves.  They can be found on streets and in parks and open spaces.  They are all individually designed and beautifully created.  The trail is free to participate in.  When the trail ends on September 16th, the giraffes will be auctioned to raise valuable funds for the  St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal.

What did Family fun in Brum think?

When we arrived in Worcester we headed straight to the tourist information and picked up a map of the giraffe trail. Once we got the map we began to explore Worcester.  We all really enjoyed finding the giraffes.  They are all beautifully decorated and each one is unique.  Another highlight of the trail was exploring Worcester.  The Cathedral was beautiful and we had a lovely picnic sitting by the river.  There are lots of cafes, restaurants and a good selection of shops.  We will definitely be coming back for another visit.
