Blossom Together Picnic: Brindleyplace

Join artist educator Taiba Akhtar to take part in creative activities surrounded by the cherry blossom trees in Oozells Square, Brindleyplace, outside Ikon Gallery. Families are invited to create floral origami and monoprints inspired by the blossoms, their fleeting fragility and uniqueness. Open to all ages.

Bring a packed lunch with you and take part in the Blossom Together Picnic (12-2pm.

Dragon Egg Hunt at Tamworth Castle

Family fun for Easter with our ‘egg-stra’ special egg hunt. Ruby the Castle Dragon has hidden her eggs from the dastardly dragon hunter. She has been very clever and disguised them, but now she cannot find them!  Come along and join in this fun hunt but don’t forget to record the egg locations on the quiz sheet – as you will hand in the sheet to receive a small prize! All in all a fun event and egg-citing way to explore the Castle.

Free crafts and face painting at the Coffin Works

To celebrate the Easter holidays the Coffin Works will be having free craft sessions and face painting on Friday 7th April and Friday 14th April.

Price is included in entry to the museum. (Kids go free on Friday 14th April)

Easter Bunny trail at Manor Fruit Farm

When? Saturday 1st April to Sunday 16th April.

How much? £4.50 for adults and £6.50 for children

Manor Fruit Famr Easter Bunny Trail will be open every day from Saturday, 1st April until Sunday, 16th April (10am – 3.30pm). That’s 16 days of fantastic family fun at the farm. A wonderful woodland walk with fabulous views.

Benjamin the cheeky Easter Bunny has left some decorations for you to find. You’ll need to follow the trail and hop around to find the clues, answer the questions, and track that little bunny down.  If you manage to ‘crack’ the Easter code, there will be a chocolate treat waiting for you at the end. Yummy!

Alice and characters from Lewis Carroll’s novel will be here to entertain you and add a magical element to an already exciting experience at Dudley Canal and Caverns over Easter.

 

Collect your goodie bag and jump onboard a themed boat trip which will take you on a fabulous journey through the tunnels and caverns so see if you can spot the hidden Easter eggs and win a prize. It’s a great day out for the whole family!

Eggsplore the garden and take part in our fantastic egg hunt, get creative and create some eggtremely cool Easter themed crafts plus play games in the lovely Selly Manor garden. Plus you can visit the Tudor manor for dressing up, a family trail and lots of hands on experiences.
