The description of Pride and Prejudice (*sort of) on the Rep Theatre website says  it is an adaptation like no other.  This sums up the show perfectly.  It has all the characters you will recognise- including a silently brooding Mr Darcy and a head strong and confident Elizabeth Bennett.  The twist in the adaption is that the story is retold by 6 female servants who expertly play all the characters in the story.  It is a brilliant adaption which uses popular music and irreverent language to show the reality of women's lives at that time.

 

This was an excellent date night out which had us laughing from start to finish.  A must see!
