Today we were invited to experience a Winter Wonderland at the Snowdome in Tamworth. This was our first Christmas activity of the season and I have to admit I wasn't fully in the Christmas spirit when I arrived. However all this changed as we entered through the magical arches of Winter Wonderland and wound our way through the fairy lit maze. We were greeted by a friendly Christmas helper who found out what we wanted for Christmas and then directed us through to the most amazing snowy Wonderland. We had 30 minutes to throw snowballs, sledge, toboggan and experience real snowfall.
Once our time was up we were directed towards the Theatre area where there was a special Christmas guest. Santa and some of his elves performed a fun show which both my boys said was the highlight of their time at the Snowdome. My boys laughed a lot throughout, danced along with the elves and sang a Christmas songs.
The final part to our Winter Wonderland adventure was a chance to meet Santa's reindeer, have a ride on a carousel and write a letter to Santa. It was a magical end to a special day and we all came away feeling very Christmasy.
