What family fun in Brum think:

Forge Mill farm is a small council run farm with lots of character and love put in.  When we arrived we bought a bag of 80p goat food and went to find the goats. We soon discovered that there were lots of them and they were all keen for food!  Once the goats had, had their fill we went to explore the two barns that have animals in to see.  There were chicks, goats, sheep, cows and Shire horses.  Throughout the day there are handling sessions and demonstrations.

We took part in the chick handling and milking demo.  Once the boys had seen all the animals and petted them they began to explore the other activities that were on offer.  This included a sand pit, racing track with scooters and a model cow to milk.  The activity that was the biggest hit was the Maize Maze.  We did this twice and only got lost once!

This is a great day out and depending when you go it is either free or affordable.
