Monday 30th May FREE Commonwealth Games activities at the National Memorial Arboretum

Where? National Memorial Arboretum, DE13 7AR

How much? Free

There are lots of activities to do this half term at the National Memorial Arboretum including a new augmented reality experience which takes families on a journey to learn about the diverse communities and friendship of countries that take part in the Commonwealth Games.  There is also a new Queen’s Baton Relay sticker trail which invites families to find eight batons linked to memorials at the Arboretum.

Wednesday 1st June Family Workshop, Gallery in a Box at Barber Institute

Where? The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, B15 2TS

How much? £3 per child

If you could build your own gallery what would it look like? What would it be called? What would you choose to display in it?  Join the Barber team this half term and create a gallery in a box! Come along to discover all about how galleries are made in our print bay display Founding the Barber. Then put your curator hat on to imagine your own gallery and create a mock-up version filled with miniature artworks and objects.

Join the Jewel Hunt and Foil the Naughty Gnomes!  The naughty Gnomes of Bodenham have played a trick on the Queen.  They've hidden the Crown Jewels and they're nowhere to be seen!  Your booking gives you access to the Arboretum and Farmyard. You are then free to explore over 5 miles of wonderful woodland walks. Visit the farm...not forgetting our donkeys too.
