Birmingham Canal

FREE Community Games with Canal & River Trust 

9 July 2022 between 12-5pm

The Community Games will take place across Birmingham.  Take part in kayaking and bellboating on the water, as well as activities including rowing (land based), wind surfing (land based), archery, cricket, hockey, judo, tennis and orienteering, walking and running.

Burger Fest at Aston Hall

Get ready to enjoy some of the most exciting and juicy burgers around Birmingham and beyond. There will also be bars selling local craft beers, bottle bars, tea and coffee, live music, DJs and a market hall filled with some of Birmingham's finest creators and makers in and around Birmingham.

FREE King Kong Park

22nd July- 8th August 

Great Hampton Row, Birmingham, B19 3JP.

King Kong Park will bring together the local community, visitors, athletes, and tourists in a festival-style celebration of the city.  Working together with local artists, one of Birmingham’s biggest independent food operators and event organisers, the park will host live music, sport events and street food and drink suppliers between 22nd July and 8th August.  Many of the Commonwealth Games matches and fixtures will be livestreamed on a big screen, and the park will also have a running track for visitors to use.

The Jewellery Quarter Festival 2022

Saturday 23rd July 11am-8pm

FREE Queen's Baton Relay at Aston Hall

28th July 12-4pm 

 

Aston Hall is the final stop of the Queen’s Baton before it goes on to mark the formal beginnings of the Commonwealth Games. After 180 visits to 72 nations, it all ends at Aston Hall.  On the 28th July there will be free entry to the hall, fun and foolishness aplenty, and a family craft activity.
