Day 1 

Saturday 18th February 2023


National Memorial Arboretum  Woodland Trail

When? 4-26th February 2023 10am - 4pm 

Where? National Memorial Arboretum, DE13 7AR

How much? £2.50 per person

Wrap up warm and explore the wide range of trees across the 150 acres of the National Memorial Arboretum and see if you can find all of the Arboretum Friends. 

Once you have completed the trail young visitors can return to the Remembrance Centre for a tasty treat.  There will also be free crafts and arts activities, interactive story telling and an indoor Stick Man cinema experience running throughout half term.

STEM week at RAF Museum

When? Drop in everyday of half term 

Where? RAF Museum Midlands, TF11 8UP

How much? FREE

Throughout STEM Week the Museum will have a dynamic range of activities available. Challenge your science skills, put your tech talents to the test, enhance your engineering abilities and add some magic to your mathematics with a range of fun family friendly activities and workshops. 

Activities will include launching your own rocket, how high and far will it go! put your driving skills to the test guiding a spheros through a maze and create your own cargo drop contraption.

Lambing Week at Forge Mill Farm

When? 18th-26th February 2023

How much? Family ticket £18

Come and explore the lambing barn every weekend in February and February half term and welcome over 100 lambs to the Forge Mill farm family. As well as all the usual fun on the farm, the new farm trail and undercover bale adventure zone there are lots of Sheepy activities for you to take part in.

Wizardly Craft Session at Bodenham Arboretum

Day 5

Wednesday 22nd February 2023

Terrific Tudors at Selly Manor

When? 20th-24th February 10am - 5pm 

Where? Selly Manor Museum, B30 2AE

How much? Family (up to 2 adults and 3 children aged 4- 16 yrs) £15

Explore the Tudor house and get to know Kooky Kings and Quirky Queens. Try on the armour, take part in  battle talks, meet Henry VIII, and find out what it takes to fight for the King of England! Plus crafts, games, and lots more fun!

  • Battle talks will run daily @ 11am 

  • Henry VIII will be available to meet in the Manor between 12pm and 4pm every day.

Family Workshop at Barber Institute

Get creative and celebrate families of all shapes and sizes at the Barber this half term! Discover inspirational artworks depicting families including The Last of England by Ford Maddox Brown, which has been lent to us by Birmingham Museums Trust. Bring the family together to draw, colour, cut and stick, creating your own mixed-media family portraits.
