Escape from the Birmingham City Centre crowds and discover our unique historic neighbourhood that's teeming with creative independents. Ranging from family jewellers to cake decorators, hairstylists, florists, chocolatiers, wedding shops and so much more; Christmas shopping this year will be an absolute breeze.


As you search for the perfect gift, enjoy the bespoke Christmas window displays put together by local businesses to celebrate the Festive season. Don’t forget to look up and admire the over 100 bespoke Christmas Lights around the area, provided by the JQBID, including the ultimate interactive Christmas light display, a 3 x 3m illuminated ring on The Golden Square (B18 6NF) – the perfect selfie backdrop! The easiest way to visit the JQ is either via a direct train to the Jewellery Quarter train station, or by hopping on the tram from New Street for only £1. To experience more of the Christmas lights and city vibe why not walk the short 20-minute journey from New Street station to the Jewellery Quarter.
